A Trip of Firsts

We have been back from Indiana for 4 days now, and I’m finally getting time to blog about the trip! I have been a little tired and grumpy and just didn’t feel like writing. My parents keep saying something about “jet lag” but I don’t get that since the jet went really fast. Anyway, I had a fantastic time, and it was full of so many firsts for me. I went on a plane for the first time (and if I do say so myself I was very well behaved). I rolled over for the first time from my tummy to back. At least I think I did…one minute I was looking at the ground and the next minute I was looking at the ceiling and everyone in the room was cheering. Apparently I did something wonderful with that move. But most importantly, I met my Indiana grandparents and aunts and uncles for the first time – it was so fun! Oh! And did I mention that I have hands now?? I don’t know where they have been hiding this whole time, but it turns out that I have two hands that belong to me! I stare at them a lot to make sure they don’t go away. I get a little worried when I sleep that I won’t find them again, but they are still there the next day!

I decided that I would use pictures to share my trip with you and I will post them below so you can live the experience right along with me. If you want to see all of the pictures that Mom and Dad took, you can click on this link here: All of the Indiana Pictures

Our first flight out of San Francisco was at 6:30am, so I barely got out of bed to get on the plane

By the time we got to Indiana I was hot, so they took me out of blankets, but I still kept sleeping.

Grandma Janet gave me this new hat right away. She had told me about it on this blog so I was excited to see it. It kept my head warm even when I was asleep.

This was the first day with Grandad Steve and Aunt Stephanie. I was a little upset in this photo because I couldn't wear the Santa hat they gave me since my head was already too big for it. At least I could keep it on for this photo.
Here I am with Grandma Janet. Grandma and Aunt Stephanie watched me one day when mom and dad went to the movies.

This is me sleeping with Grandad Steve and Nana Becky. I had a really good time at their house, but I would get tired after parties because they kept playing this new game called, "Pass the Baby" with all the guests.

Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Mark were a lot of fun. I felt like Uncle Mark really understood me.

Here I am after the amazing trick of rolling from my tummy.
We all wore red for the Christmas Party.

My Hero

When I was really tired I liked to have some quiet time with my mom.

Aren't we handsome?

CHECK OUT MY HANDS!!!
