Merry Christmas!

I'm in Indiana right now visiting my grandparents on my dad's side and having a great time. I've been taking a lot of pictures and will post a chronicle of my adventures when I get back home. I went on my first plane ride to get here and it wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be. In fact, I'm not totally convinced that I was on a plane at all. I would just sit in a chair with mom and goto sleep and then when I'd wake up they would say things like, "we're in Denver!", "we're in Indiana!" But it really all looks the same to me. The only things that are different are the people here and the fact that there are no pets. It's kind of refreshing to put on PJs without cat hair on them.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. Mine was happy. I tried to stay up the night before to see Santa Claus, but around 1:30 my parents told me that if I didn't go to sleep then Santa would never come. That scared me, so I decided it was best to sleep. And sure enough, when we woke up the next morning Santa had come! So, I guess everyone was right, it's best to be on the good side of the Big Guy.

Here is a picture that my grandpa took with his cell phone. I'm wearing a new hat that Grandma Janet gave to me. I think the shirt says it all, don't you?

You look very handsome Jingle!

I can't wait to hear about the plane. My mom keeps telling me about planes (she says I have to go on one in a week) but I don't really understand. Is it like a car? I know about those...I have a special seat in the car.

And I want to know about Santa, too. Did you see Santa? I waited and waited, but I never saw Santa. Santa brought me a book about dreidels and my dad said, ha that's ironic. My mom and dad are kind of silly.

Hello Bright Eyes!

So glad Santa caught up with you in Indiana.

We miss you on the West Coast. If you watch the sun set, you will see us waving to you.

Say hello to everyone for us okay?

Love you,
Grandma Salvi

Hi Peyton,

I met this man at my grandma Janet's party yesterday who looked like Santa Claus. He was really nice to me so I was trying to ask him a lot of questions about Santa, but I couldn't understand any of his answers since it just sounded like he was cooing at me.
Since I slept through most of the flying experience my mom says that your mom should call her if she wants any flying tips.
I hope I get to meet you in 2009!

Hi Jingle!
My mom says this whole Santa thing may make more sense to us next year when we're older. I don't really know what she means, but I figure it's best to just see what happens.

My mom also says she will try to call soon. We are going on a plane on Monday. I think it will be fun!

I really hope to meet you soon. You seem like a very nice boy and not like Sawyer at my school. He is not such a nice boy. He throws toys and cries a lot.
